I’m Sarah :)

After over a decade working in film production for Netflix, Warner Bros, BBC, Disney, I realised I had to start investing in my wellbeing if I were to have longevity and maintain good health.

I retrained in multiple therapeutic models, and as a Wellbeing Facilitator with BFI/6ftFrom and I-ACT Manager to support mental health in the Film Industry.

As a Certified TRE Provider, (which is the practice at Shake Club), I found the most remarkable results for workplace wellbeing, and now offer Shake Club’s across Industries.

I deliver Shake Club across the UK and Europe, alongside a pool of hand-picked qualified practitioners and small team.

  • Individual Sessions are recommended to introduce everyone to their inner shake in a supported way, ready to be released into ‘the wild’ of our group sessions. These can be delivered online or in-person

  • In intimate groups of up to 10 person teams, we guide through an inner trip, with weekly 90 minute sessions.

  • Schedule regular recurring group shakes, weekly or monthly, to foster team building, and building shaking into your workplace wellbeing culture.

  • Work with me to design greater wellbeing in your workforce. Bringing experience from creative Industries, public sector and start-ups, and a holistic approach to wellness integrating trauma-informed Breathwork, EFT, TRE, Hypnotherapy, IFS Parts models into a bespoke offering.

Shake Club Q&A

  • TRE® is an innovative series of exercises that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma. The exercises safely activate a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension, calming down the nervous system. When this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is encouraged to return back to a state of balance, and healthy nervous system regulation.

  • You! Since this shaking mechanism in the muscles is part of our natural behaviour as humans, everyone can benefit from TRE. Shaking of the muscles increases the resiliency of the body because it causes deep relaxation that naturally reduces stress levels. It can gently release deeply held tensions, and associated emotions whether caused by work stress, excessive worry, conflict in relationships, physical stresses or traumas from accidents.

    Now, this course starts with a 1 to 1 session, where we will talk through everything and I will guide you. If you are currently in a period of struggling with active trauma, please contact me first so we can discuss if this is the right time to try this. The practice is designed with Trauma in mind, but it may be that you are best suited to 1:1 attention rather than the group sessions offered in this course.

  • I begin all Shake Clubs with a 1-1 session, to have plenty of individual attention, as you are introduced to the process and guided to make first contact with the tremors. It is easy to learn and stretches can be adapted to you. Sessions last around 1hr, and all you need is a mat or blanket to lie on, a blanket and an internet connection, to take part at home. All sessions are currently held over Zoom. After a 1:1 you can be released into the ‘wild’ of a group session :)

  • Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises (or TRE®) is based on the fundamental idea, backed by research, that stress, tension and trauma is both psychological and physical. TRE®’s reflexive muscle vibrations generally feel pleasant and soothing. After doing TRE®, many people report feelings of peace and well-being. TRE® has helped many thousands of people globally.   • TRE was developed by Dr David Berceli, during his work in war-zones and post-natural disasters. TRE is designed to be a democratic and easily accessible self help tool.
